Reiki is the practice of energetic or spiritual healing that supports your mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being.
Universal life force energy flows through all living things and is expressed uniquely in each of us. When that energy is balanced, we feel aligned, grounded, and whole. When it’s imbalanced, it can create space for dis-ease—mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
What is Remote Reiki? Is it the same as Distance Reiki?
Remote, or Distance Reiki works with this same universal energy, but without the need for you and your Reiki practitioner to be in the same room—or even the same country. Energy knows no limits of time or space. Just as you can feel love, grief, or connection across miles, Reiki is sent directly to you.
Think of Reiki as hygiene for your energy body—like a shower that washes away the mental and emotional buildup of daily life. Remote Reiki provides the same “reset” and rejuvenation as an in-person session, with some unique benefits:
Comfort & Convenience: Receive your session from your own home, wrapped in your favorite blanket, without commuting or rushing afterward.
Deep Relaxation: Being in your own familiar space can make it easier to let go, settle in, and receive.
No Barriers: Remote Reiki is available to anyone, anywhere—perfect if you’re traveling, homebound, or living in a different location than your Reiki practitioner.
How does Remote Reiki work?
The Logistics of Remote Reiki
All new participants schedule a complimentary 30-minute consultation call to get acquainted. Upon booking a session, the participant will be prompted to complete a questionnaire to establish goals and desired outcomes for the session.
Upon booking a session, you’ll be prompted to complete a questionnaire. Because the underlying emotional and energetic frequencies are the baseline at which we create, the content of the questionnaire invites you to become aware of the connection between your emotional and energetic frequencies and what this produces in your life.
We begin the Reiki session with an acknowledgement of what’s present for you. We talk about your questionnaire, and you’ll share some of what’s happening in your life and body.
During a Reiki session, you remain fully clothed and sit or lie down in the space you’ve created.
Marilynn is a clear channel for universal life force energy (divine love). Marilynn’s role is to focus her intention and connect with your energy to send the Reiki and support you in your goal(s) for the session.
After Reiki is complete, Marilynn invites you to share about any shifts you experienced during the session, and we intentionally close.
Remote Reiki sessions are 90-minutes / $180. Session structure includes the discussion of the content of the questionnaire, Reiki session, and intentional closing.
Please note it is encouraged for those who are new to Reiki to schedule a complimentary Follow-up Call 3-7 days after your session.
How to prepare for remote Reiki?
Please consider setting your space for your remote Reiki session. It is important that you clear anything that will distract you or make you uncomfortable.
You may wish to:
Physically pickup or clean the space of clutter or distraction
Energetically clear the space
Create a comfortable place for your body to sit or lie down during the session
Have a blanket and/or pillows nearby in case you want or need them
Have tissues nearby
Have something to drink nearby
Lower the lights
Use candles or essential oils
Remove any obstacles to your being comfortable and taking your attention

Silence or turn off cell phones and notifications on the computer
